This picture was an extremely loose random collage of George Benson done
for Warner Brothers as part of an ongoing "Greatest Hits" series of Jazz
musicians. His assistant Joyce initially started it, then it was changed
and finished by Neleman with an odd arrangement of transparencies, prints,
xeroxes, even pieces of camera filters.
"Sometimes the collages take on
their own life, and everything just falls into place," says Neleman.
