 ne of the most obvious, though not necessarily simplest, tasks that Morris faces is not just capturing the drama of life-and-death moments, but also doing it in a visually powerful and immediate way. His challenge, and the challenge of any war shooter, he says, is to move into chaos and record in a simple, direct image.
"I want to try to produce quality war photography. I don't want to just go in there and put on the motor drive and start shooting everything that moves. I want to try and have my own style and my own vision."
