 One particularly interesting celebrity layout that McNally was
recently assigned to shoot involved actress Michelle Pfeiffer
modeling a number of famous gems from the National Gem Collection
of the Smithsonian Institution. Before even planning the shoot,
he watched all of her films to study the way that she had been
lit in the past.
"I traveled with a small VCR because I was on the road all the
time and I just dragged her videocassettes with me," he recalls.
"Someone like Michelle Pfeiffer is very particular about her lighting." |
