PDN'S PIX 8TH ANNUAL DIGITAL IMAGING CONTEST SHOWCASES AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHY CREATED WITH DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY. THE CONTEST WAS JUDGED IN THREE CATEGORIES:
|
A little about the competition: By "digital" we mean all aspects of electronic imaging. Some of the images featured here were captured digitally, while others were shot on film and then manipulated. There are no boundaries here between capture, post production and output. Each category features a winner followed by merits. The judges (rated each image out of five, and then the points were tallied up. The Winners in each of the categories will receive an Epson Stylus Photo 2200 Printer, Adobe Photoshop 7.0, a Nikon CoolPix digital camera and a Photoserve.com portfolio. Call for entries will be in the March 2003 issue of Photo District News and online at www.pdnonline.com/contests.
