I'm interested in exploring nonhuman contradictory experiences. The subject matter found its medium in digital photography, which compromises and alters our objective sense of reality. I eschewed using heavy manipulation. To achieve this effect, digital photography didn't require much intervention. It just had to be what it is.
I use a Nikon D1 with a 50mm f/1.4 lens for image capture. Once in the computer, I employ only a subtle application of color and luminosity in Photoshop on a Macintosh G4. The images are enlarged with Genuine Fractals, proofed on an Epson 2000P and printed on a Light Jet. |
