Bonnaroo is a three-day music festival in Manchester, Tennessee, one hour outside of Nashville. It has an incredibly eclectic line up of bands from old-school acts like the Allman Brothers and James Brown to newer jazz, bluegrass and indie rock music and just about everything in between. This year I was hired to make portraits of the artists backstage as well as shoot behind-the-scenes photographs, live pictures and anything else that might capture the vibe of the festival. On top of that, I also agreed to direct the film that documents the festival, but that's a whole other story.
