olando Garibotti on a moraine in the Cerro Torre Valley, below the expansive Southeast walls of the Cerro Torre massif, a trilogy of granite peaks lit by the pink light of dawn. Nearly 5000 feet of sustained, technical climbing, and its spectacular and aesthetic shape has made Cerro Torre (3128 meters) and its satellite peaks some of the most prized and challenging objectives in the mountaineering world.
